Born in 1949 in Alsace, Roger KEIFLIN had always had one overriding passion: painting. Self-taught, he started to exhibit his work at the age of 15 and to win many prizes. Established in Provence, this lover of matter, defender of rigour, without excluding sensitivity, opts for colour, which dominates all his work. Though a range of tones produced from a palette where purples, reds and ochres dominate, the painter is unrivalled for harmonising colours, reproducing the luminosity and ardour of a sun-kissed landscape.
